Boston Sewer Boston Sewer

Boston Sewer System. In 1877 the Boston sewer system was built.  It is home to New England’s largest and oldest sewer system and one of the oldest in the country.  The current Boston sewer system totals over 1,400 linear miles.  If you’re noticing clogged drains, backups, or leaks it is most likely due to Boston’s aging sewer system.
