Boston Drain Pipe. A commercial building in the Boston area contacted us in regards to issues they were having with their 4” cast iron drain pipe. The bottom of the cast iron drain pipe had been rotted away thus leading to exfiltration into the ground soil. A Perma-Liner certified installer came to examine the drain pipe. Once the 4” pipe was cleaned and inspected, the Perma-Liner material was impregnated with the two-part 100% solids epoxy mixture and then loaded into the Perma-Lateral air inversion unit. After the liner was inverted, air pressure was held steady and maintained for three hours. The drain pipe was post-inspected to see the final results. The commercial property in Boston felt relieved to have a brand new 4” drain pipe.
